I'm in the vaguely confused situation wherein I am fairly certain I wrote a review (strong sense I attempted to spell the game the two main characters played, but had to double check the spelling), but do not see one here now, plus, I do not actually recall rating this story this highly. 5+ stars? Seriously? Shesh.
A man and a woman play a game. She's drunk. He's . . .it's not stated. They've been dating for a while. She's a teenager. He's creepily older than her. Like, 30+ year old dating a 18 year older creepy. I do not recall which game in particular they play, nor if she ever had success against him playing the game. But she's feeling recklessly overconfident, so agrees to a bet. He'll give her enough money to go to college if she wins; she'll wear a costume he picks out for her for a Halloween party (I forgot to include: 'he's filthy rich, she's cleanly poor (what, we doing opposites, yes? What's the opposite of filthy rich? Well, she doesn't have money, 'k?)'; is instant red flag if one side of a wager is some massively generous reward, and other side is something 'minor').
Woman, as expected, loses. All of this mentioned in passing, I don't think it was actually mentioned in detail though. Woman doesn't mind, really - she's going to be able to go to a Halloween party, which should be great, and all she has to do is wear whatever he picks out. How bad can it be?
Day of party occurs. She arrives early to get into the costume; she has no clue what he chose for her. She's the kind to be, apparently, constantly aroused. He keeps her on the peak of arousal as he provides her with the costume, and she puts it on. Talking her into doing certain things she might otherwise not do but for being so aroused. Like put on the costume sans undergarments (has the costume been used before? Has it at least been cleaned? Bare skin against rented costume? nooooo). She might be quite aroused, but she's still aware enough of her surroundings to notice that her nipples and breasts are kind of very visible in this costume. He makes some off hand comment about how he'll take care of things. She, being really horny, continues to put on costume. Assumes she'll put it on, they'll fuck, she'll then get him to add things - like . . . um, well, better cover for her breasts. I forget what all else.
While still on the peak of arousal, he binds up her arms, restrains her, and shoves a gag like thingie into her mouth. Then proceeds to lead her outside. She's, understandably, freaking out by this point.
Whereupon he leashes her to some post like thing outdoors. Then leaves. Vehicle arrives. She's horrified/embarrased/incredibly pissed off. People exit the vehicle. It's a horse . . . um . . . use my words . . . horse trailer thingie. The type of thing you transport horses in. The people from the vehicle, the front part at least, proceed to remove three women dressed like the main female character of the story. I failed to mention how she's dressed, yes? hmms. Right, so, she's been dressed up like a ponygirl (I also forgot to mention that he did actually tell her how he was going to dress her, I'd forgotten - so, forget what I said before about her not knowing -> she'd no clue what he meant, and was vaguely interested how she'd be dressed like a pony. Especially as there's just one of her, and most pony costumes she knew of previously involved someone wearing a horse head, and someone else wearing horse rear; that's not the kind of pony she's dressed up like).
One thing leads to another - and I interject two things: the woman is deeply annoyed/angry/etc. about everything going on; deeply aroused - and the exposed woman is attached to a two ponygirl cart. And proceeds to be forced to transport people longish distance from gate up to house. While being whipped.
Other stuff happens. Like a roommate appearing, and complications, and stuff. And people talking about her right in front of her, without actually talking to her. Etc.etc.
How the bloody hell did I end up rating this 5+ stars? eh, meh, pfft.
This is one of those niche type stories that is not for everyone. On many levels. Immature people below a certain age should not read this. Mature people of any age should probably not read this. People looking for graphic depictions of sex . . . should look elsewhere. People looking for an almost fetish-like devotion to descriptions of binding/deeply detailed and extensively detailed descriptions of leather and buckles, and bits, and bindings/etc. should look elsewhere. I'm not exactly sure whose left in the possible reading audience, but them, they should read this. *nods* (I have left a lot, I figured I didn't need to continue down a list, I'd never finish, infinite list - 'those who like cat stories shouldn't look here' (well, the roommate is wearing a cat costume, but . . . ); 'those who like horror should not . . . ' (well, there's a tinge of psychological horror but . . . ) etc. etc.).
Rating: WTF I rated it before.

Out Here by Yeaka
If you were ever curious about: 1) an Empire version of Uhura (you know, mirror universe on the various television shows has the Federation be an Empire; 2) a lesbian version of Uhura; 3) a dominant sexual version of Uhura – well, here you go. This story. If you also had a desire, based maybe on seeing Carol Marcus on one of the alternative time line Star Trek movies, based maybe on something else – well, this story also includes Carol. Though she’s pretending to be ‘Carol Wallace’. And the story is entirely from Uhura’s point of view.
Right, so – this story may or not be both a mirror universe story and an alternate time line story. Not sure. There’s a tag that normally gets used on Archive of Our Own if the fanfiction is based on the alternate time line universe, and that tag isn’t used on this story. But then, the tags are oddly wrong in many ways – I mean the tags that did get used. Actually, maybe just the ‘animal play’ one – sure, Uhura had a thought about leashing Carol and having her crawl around on the bridge, but that was a thought, not actual action in the story – and it was a very brief thought.
Distracted myself. There’s several reasons why I believe this might also be an alternate time line story because several of the things seem to line up that way, albeit in a mirror universe way. Like Chekov being described as fragile – weak to see this as a hint, but he did seem more fragile in the alternate time line than original series (though that might be faulty memory) – and Carol got aboard the Enterprise under false pretenses in this story, like in the alt time line . . . etc. etc. Not important, really. Important is that this is a mirror universe story. And humans are assholes and take every advantage to show how sexually aroused they can be. Or something like that. Considering the stuff that went on during the original series run . . . that just means Kirk is: 1) shown to be more emotional; 2) more prone to making cruel jokes that have more bite; - but is at about same sexual level as ‘non-mirror universe’ time line, heck, he might be even a little less sexualized in the mirror universe. Everyone else, though, is more sexualized. Including Uhura.
I keep writing paragraphs as if I forgot what I wrote before and not really getting anywhere. Pfft. Right, so, Uhura is the main and only point of view character. She’s in the same or similar position on this Enterprise as she is on the TOS television series. Unlike Alternate Time Line, she hasn’t had anything to do with Spock sexually (actually, that reminds me that I saw everyone in the story in the form of the TOS actors, except for Carol Marcus, who I saw in the form of the film actress); who is more like his television series and original film time line films – a cold fish sexually. Only mentioned to indicate a difference – important because the story starts with Uhura feeling ‘lonely’, and deciding to go ‘on the prowl’.
After an exchange between Uhura and Kirk, Uhura begins looking for a ‘yeoman’ of her own – someone about on the same status level as an Orion slave girl.
One thing leads to another and Uhura targets Carol Wallace – whose name popped up on the crew register as Uhura was staring at it – there's something fishing going on there.
Blackmail/power games/dominance/submission/graphic depictions of sex fill out the rest of the story.
Entertaining in its way. More of a sex story set on the Enterprise than a Science Fiction story of exploration and stuff. Though it is a Mirror universe story, and they did tend to go that direction, albeit not as graphically as here.

Elfin Magic by R.G. Emanuelle
After reading one of the free short stories by this author released by Dirt Road Books, I promptly read another. By the same author I mean. Even though I was somewhat disappointed in the first I’d read.
It’s March and I’m reading a Christmas story. Heh.
Right, so, another solo point of view story – from the point of view of an elf – or, at least, a woman who wears an elf costume at a department story during the holidays to work the register in the little hut that processes photos taken with Satan. Yes, bring your kids to see Satan. Bah. I mean Santa, of course. Stupid fingers not type what I want (and yes, I’ve fought them to actually write all rest, they wanted to type ‘time’ instead of ‘type’ earlier, among other things . . . dangnabbit, stop removing my spaces, fingers!)
While her stomach rumbles (a reoccurring theme for this author? Hehe, I joke with myself, just noticing a reoccurring plot point in two stories read on same day), the woman plans to go on break. But wait! There’s a gorgeous woman who is next! POV woman (and here remember people’s names would be nice, I think her ‘elf’ name was something like Jangles, and her human name was something like Maddy, but I might be wrong about both) and gorgeous woman (whose name escapes me completely) flirt.
Then, I think it’s the next day, that same woman returns. Sans kid. Asks if POV woman is about to have a break.
The two sneak into an out of the way area that consists of a den of bears. Stuffed bears. Graphic depiction of sex may or may not occur, with some odd bell ringing, and almost constant mental reminders that they have a thin layer of bears (and. . . other stuff) between them and the public).
Despite not much happening in this story, it seemed a lot more complete than the other story I read by this author today. Much more satisfying; much less of a teaser.

Apple by Gill McKnight
I wasn’t sure what I’d be getting myself into by entering this story here. I kind of expected to dislike it. That I was setting myself up for two ‘bad’ reads in a row. So why’d I enter it? Well, one – there’s a ton of people out there that like/love this author’s work (even if I hadn’t before now), and two, I like giving authors a lot of chances before just cutting them off. And this was a short story – free at that (there are 14 free short stories on the Dirt Road Books website).
I had a vague idea that this would be a fairy tale retelling and or that there would at least be a Snow White character and a huntsmen character (and that the huntsmen would be ’different’ than normal). Otherwise, I didn’t know what the story would be about.
So, I plunged in. To find Snow White, Snowie, talking to someone named ‘Red Cap’ (yeah, stupid me, took me forever to realize who that was, and for too long moment thought maybe Red Cap was a bird, since there were some Black Caps that turned up that were, in fact, birds (ETA: the animals, including the birds, had the ability to talk in this story, which I failed to mention when I initially released this review) – I won’t mention who the character is modeled on, there’s a tendency to play with names in this story, so I’ll leave it as something for the reader to find out (though they might know immediately just from ‘Red Cap’, but, meh).
Where was I? Right. Story opens with Snowie holding an apple while talking with Red Cap. Red Cap is quite paranoid and believes Snowie shouldn’t eat the apple. A bite is taken, Snowie falls to the floor, and the action is commenced – Red Cap must find help! And the story unfolds from there.
There is one and only one POV in the story – Red Cap. The story was quite interesting, and unexpectedly erotic. Fun story.
So, my reading of this author has gone from: 1st story: DNF; 2nd story: barely 3 stars; 3rd story: 4.75 stars – I assume if I continue on this trajectory, I’ll read something that will get placed on my six star shelf despite that being closed to solo reads (only rereads can get there).
My first story from a publisher I didn’t really realize existed (I didn’t know they existed, but I’ve seen one of their two (or is it three?) novels that they’ve released – I’ve just not read it).
Rating: 4.80
(yes, I overrated based on the fluffiness, and the erotic nature of the story *shrugs*)

Sugar's Spice: Choose Your Bondage Fantasy by Stephanie D. Nalle
Sugar's Spice: Choose Your Bondage Fantasy by Stephanie D. NalleMy rating: 3 of 5 stars
Over time I've picked up the habbit of occasionally popping into stories I can 'control'. As in 'choose your own adventure' type stories where 'I', or I should say 'you' with 'you' being the reader have control (you know like 'click here if you wish to continue reading this review', 'click here if you eat a candy bar instead of continuing to read', 'click here if you attempt to read the review while eating the candy bar' *click* You've smeared chocolate all over your face and you are drooling (occasionally the results of clicking on one of the choices has you doing stupid stuff that is even out of character of the 'you' in the story).
Haven't read this specific author before.
Slight complication immeidately, though I do not 'deduct' anything from it - I 'started' the book only to find myself in the middle of the action. That can happen, but I was confused so did moved back a page. And saw more text. Oopsie, this isn't set to start at the beginning of the book but some distance down the line.
Right no matter.
So, the 'you' in this story is female *yay*. And work in tech support. And are 26. Struggling actress (apparently playing a lot of 'extras' in a play has caused you to be 'desperately low on funds' - apparently acting in that play involved you paying to be allowed to act in it). Oh, and you are 'a hooker at 'Madam's'.
So . . . not a lot of choices so far for me the 'you' to make. I've left my day job, got into a crappy car, and driven towards job 2 - hooker. Where-upon my crappy car dies. Outside a house with a roaring fire (presumably in a fire place). And a man from the house emerges. He looks like Colin Firth. Still no choices for me to make. This is a CYOA book, right? For adults?
Ooh! How exciting, can make choice now. Course by this point there's a bunch I should have already made - like whether or not I decide to go up to a stranger's house after he asked if I'd like to do so; accepting a possibly drugged drink, etc. etc. But, choice be made here, first choice: making quick private call or going to fire to warm up.
Well, now that I have choices I stop making note of story. Or I mean, telling the story as it unfolds.
Oh bloody hell - more possible drugged items - wine in a glass, cheese. Right, sorry, I said I'd stop saying what occurring.
Heh, No reason for me to do so, but every chance I had I've taken the less naughty route (most of the time I, first read through, chose naughty route). Which I mention because, while causally eating food, I . . . just remove my dressing gown and reveal my lingerie. hehe. I mean, I had no choice to do that or not do that. Just *eating food, here's my breasts, want to see them?* mmphs. heh. Okay, seriously, how did I choose the least naughty path only to find myself - without being able to change the direction or control anyhing, with a ballgag in my mouth and all bound up? shesh.
Okay, this story became super weird. And long. And twisted. And . . . what the bloody hell am I reading anyway? This is kind of like the never ending story. It just keeps going and going, and now there's some man (unknown previously) sexually blackmailing some other woman (not seen previously) and . . . on and on.
“Dan, what do you know about a computer scientist work colleague called Ben?”
- I've skipped mentioning the conversations, but they can be quite . . . awkward. All three of you - Dan, 'you', and Ben worked with computers. Awkwardly saying 'computer scientist work colleague' seems . . . weird.
hehe - shesh. That first read through, the first path I chose to go down was weird. Truth be told, I didn't want to read about a sexually harassing school principal, so I backed up to see what the other path lead. Which lead to comic conventions. See, weird things turn up as you go down .. . this book's paths.
Interesting enough way to pass the time.

Finding Jaime by P. Dawn
Finding Jaime by P. DawnMy rating: 2 of 5 stars
I'm the odd one out this time, I know. I wrote a review, but it's on my phone. My reaction was such that I needed to get my thoughts down immediately while slightly seething in rage. *shrugs* Can't actually see my phone at moment, though, so . . ..
Guess I'll do a bare bones reconstruction of what I wrote, and then add more later. Or something. Maybe.
---
I did not like this book.
(view spoiler)[The main character, Jaime, is a foul-mouthed, overaly sexualized immature bitch.
Which I'm fine with. For the most part. It was the part where she's a cheater who got pissed off at the woman she cheated on, mentally and physically tortured the woman she cheated on (no,
really, she did - (view spoiler)[forcing the other woman to lie on your bed as you bind her then strip her has elements of . . um . . . some bits of torture (hide spoiler)]
Counter-point: The woman she cheated with is the same woman she cheated on.
She just didn't know that (which was why she was pissed). While dating Joss, Jaime was also dating Madame Butterfly (I mean Butterfly). She developed feelings for both. Though she only fucked one of the two before learning that both were the same woman.
How the fuck did she no know they were the same woman? Did Joss pretend to be her own twin named Butterfly? No - Joss was wearing an, apparently, very effective mask and 'altering' (?) her voice while in the bondage club and being Butterfly (technically Joss didn't pretend to be Butterfly, nor did Butterfly pretend to be Joss - she was both, two sides of the same woman in two different settings - it's just that people don't normally use other names when in different settings.
Usually.
Why didn't Joss say anything? Well, 1) up front Joss doesn't get a pass for the action that unfolded;
2) there is a really common and really fucking despised trope that popped up - communication blocked (like cock blocked, but with communication) - Joss kept trying to tell Jaime, but every time she began to do so, Jaime 'blocked her' by, among other things, kissing her in the middle of sentences (bitch); Joss would be all like 'before we go any further I need to tell you . . .' and Jaime would be all like '*pounces onto Joss as Butterfly and begins to fuck her*'. On the other hand,
there were occasions when Joss could have said something - reading between the lines, I think this just meant there were fewer instances of Jaime pouncing Joss than lost communication opportunities, but . . . Joss still did have these openings. They weren't always fucking. (hide spoiler)]
I rather disliked everything about this book, the main characters, the side characters, the side side characters (like Sam the sexually harassing boss), and the overall story line.
In terms of other characters: Jaime's parents - both of them, were horrible. Jaime's mother is a nasty horrible shrew; while Jaime's father was a weak ass piece of shit who never stood up for his daughter. This reminds me, though that I really liked what Jaime said to her mother when she finally snapped and called the mother out on her hypocrisy. So much so that I'm going to go ahead and add another star to my review.
I've forgotten what else I wrote on my phone.

The Pony Girl Diva by Jim Lyon
The Pony Girl Diva: Lesbian D/s Erotica by Jim LyonMy rating: 3 of 5 stars
This really was much more of a story outline than a story. Don't get me wrong, there were elements in each section to add a level of 'story' to the activity, but this was very bare bones. Very little was revealed or conveyed. By that I mean about the characters, the world in which they inhabit, about anything.
Someone could respond with something with 'well it's erotica so...'; to which I'd respond 1) even with erotica I want to know the characters, to feel them, inhabit them, to know them (oops, said know twice); 2) there were elements of erotica in the story, but it was as bare bones as everything else - heck, the sex scene was more fade to black than anything else (weird, considering) - though even there, I wasn't sad that it was fade to black since they lept to 'let's put on a gigantic strap-on and fuck you in the ass with it' without any conversation so . . . . (and yes indeed I'm glad this was fade to black - I'm so not into anal that if this wasn't roughly 0.01% of the story, and at the end, I'd probably have fled screaming).
Right, so. This story read.

I had been reluctant to read this short story because it had been a longish while since I read the book the couple was from, and I had this vague idea that this was just going to be a sex story - this short story I mean. Then the story opened, and it seemed interesting - people at a party doing weird and odd things and . . wait, no, this is just a sex story. Right, so, I've now read this snippet and can close the story on this couple.

Delicious: A New Year's Eve Short Story by Niamh Murphy
Delicious: A New Year's Eve Short Story by Niamh MurphyMy rating: 3 of 5 stars
Quick short story about a woman who reluctantly goes to a New Year's Eve party. She's only there because she's spent the past year lusting, strongly, after the woman hosting the party. But that's the only person she'll know at the party, and she's very much thinking that she should just cut all ties to that woman, because it's hurting to keep lusting after her - a New Year's resolution should be made on that subject.
The story starts with the woman outside not getting any answer to her attempts to let anyone know she's there, she's decided to just leave but that other woman opens the door and pulls her in. The one in lust is tingling and on edge, but continues to want to just leave. She briefly gets into a conversation with some man, whereupon the reader learns that the lustful one works in information technology, she's a computer technician. Working herself up to leave (and yes, I've said that a lot - it's said a lot in the short story), she exists a small bathroom only to run directly into that other woman. Who kisses her. Then they have sex. Afterwards the lustful one feels vaguely used, because the other one just 'got her off' (stripped her, pleasured her, then left) without ever taking her own clothing off, and with a quick 'must get back to the party' comment before leaving her there in the bed. And, um, more stuff happens. I've just suddenly lost the ability to continue typing so, um, that happened.
Story was interesting enough for what it is - a quick little snippet, a test of writing more graphically (as the author notes in her afterward). Even though it's just a snapshot scene, the people felt real enough, especially the lead character, and I've a vague desire to read more about the cooking student (the lustful one) and the cook.

Suburban Sex Kitten Adventure by Amanda Clover
Suburban Sex Kitten Adventure by Amanda CloverMy rating: 4.65 of 5 stars
I go into this choose your own adventure story knowing two things (then spotting a third before I begin): 1) I've read these types of books by this author before and I either find them to be meh, or interesting, so this one might fall somewhere in between; 2) I 'play' a woman in this one - unlike many of these types of 'you' books; 3) 'features paths for straight, lesbian, and bisexual readers.' - so that sounds interesting. *nods*
Right, so, let's actually open the book, eh? Or click on it or whatever.
Okay, so, book opens with me stirring awake after at least one erotic dream (about a werewolf with some interesting moves - no, it wasn't shown, I was told I woke up with this still impacting my nipples).
Okay, so I'm bouncy and I have no problem bouncing around without a bra on and with my rather engorged nipples poking at my tank top. Bouncy's good. I don't want to be depressed. *nods*
Right, sorry, so book opens with you getting the paper and while out there you 'take in' who your neighbors are. I assume this is setting up for a 'go for person x' type chooses to be made. Oh, and yes, she, sorry I did make a comment, in my character's head, about how need actual physical newspaper in this day an age to find summer job.
hehehe, after 'reminding myself' about all the hot looking people around me (well, and a few less hot people), my first choice is to allow myself to get into the car of a real pervy guy who basically just offered money for sex. Right there in the street. mmphs. eww.
Okay okay, I was going to try the lesbian path first, but I was curious. hehe. So I get in the car for some 'easy money' (what, it's a long tradition in lesbian circles for, at least, the femme to get money as a prostitute *nods* - creepy man in mercedes felt up my breasts, then sucked on them, then crashed into a cop car - so . . . that was interesting. hehe. And I didn't even have to touch him! Though I didn't get any money and I'm now an hours walk from home and/or a strip mall (odd - car ride didn't seem to be an hour long).
Gah. I really shouldn't have gone that direction, though. Because I'm out in my PJ's (which consists of a tank top and shorts, but whatever - they be PJ's because book say they PJ's) and haven't showered yet. I think I'm going to restart. I want to shower first before I do anything. mmphs. Gross. Wandering around without showering first. mmphs. hehe.
*Restarts - tells creepy dude in Mercedes to go to hell path*
Dang it - I want to go see what the hot Mrs. Davenport has in the way of 'chores' but . . I still haven't showered yet! mmphs. So . . . I go inside. I'll probably accidentally trip and break my neck or something by deciding to go inside. mmphs. Why I not showered yet? WHYYYYY?
Heh - now the author is talking to me through my own brain . . . um, I mean, whatever. 'Sure, you made the most boring choice. That doesn't mean the rest of your day has to be boring.' I just want to be showered and in clothing Author! Please let me clean myself up, please.
I shall now do the dance of joy - 'Your early morning has left you with the urge for a nice, hot bath'. Clean clean clean, I'm going to be cleaned up soon! Oh for .. . sake, stop teasing me with getting clean! Yes, nude dancing in an empty house sounds interesting, but for fuck sake, will you please let me clean up? For fuck sake. I promise I'll nude dance afterwards if you'd just fucking let me fucking clean up already! FUCK!
YYYYYYESSS! Bath choice! *pounds on the 'soak in the tube' option.
oh for fuck sake. So I just want to be clean, does that really make me 'a bigger wuss than you thought'. I"ll be naked, wet, probably with windows gapping for anyone to see me naked and wet, and I'll probably play the water massager thingie over my clit - so I'm a big wuss? pfft.
And now I'm referring to my 'kitty' as a separate 'thing' and that we are a team. pfft.
Hmms, things were getting interesting there - starting to have erotic feelings toward your female best friend but . . . doorbell interruption. hmms. Maybe it's the friend? Have fun with friend now? I clean now. *nods*
Oh neat - the 'me' had started 'playing with myself' with images to a man, but quickly morphed into thinking about Lucy, then when I ignored the doorbell, and couldn't get back into the fantasy with LUcy I went to . . . another woman to fantasize over. hmms . . neeeat.
Well now, then Lucy reappeared, while you are fantaizing about the librarian, and much fun was had by everyone. EVERYONE! WHY AM I SHOUTING! RIght, sorry. Was shouting in joy, anyway, just to reassure.
Old friend who you stopped being friends with after they came out and said you aroused them texts. Asks to hang out. After pleasuring myself to thoughts of mom's librarian friend and Lucy, fuck yes I'm going to hang out with Keisha.
Darn - the way this section is opening - I don't think it actually flows immediately after what I read. I mean, it could, just . . . it seems to imply things that haven't happened. *shrugs*
'You wear a tight gray top that hangs off one shoulder and reveals that you aren’t wearing a bra.' - okay, now I know this doesn't connect with previous section. I, or you, were sitting around in my sheer panties and bra when I decided whether to text Keisha back or not. Now I'm suddenly not wearing a bra? mmphs. (not that I actually want to wear a bra)
(Want to make sure I went back to look, yes I did put on a bra and panties. mmphs 'You finish drying off and put on a sheer black bra with embroidered lace cups and a matching pair of black lace thong panties.')
That's annoying me enough that I'm going to go back and try that Lovr app option instead. First I mean. At least as long as females are still available to flirt and stuff with. - And yep, this is the path I was supposed to go down, I don't mean I like it best, I mean - I just took a full body shot of myself in my bra and panties. Therefore letting me know this flows from last section. But, posting a full body shot of me in sheer underwear? mmphs.
Oh good, women avaiable (though only two of the four choices, and one of those two includes a man in there as well). So I go with the solo older woman option.
Ah, heh. So a little BDSM action is going to occur, eh? heh. The 41 year old says she's dominant and tender, and wants someone who isn't a brain dead bimbo but more of a naughty daughter (eww, incest).
----
Oops, well it's probably for the best that I forgot I was writing stuff while I read.
I didn't go down every path - I mostly tried to keep to the lesbian paths (except that first choice, but then the guy just felt up my boobs before getting arrested so - alls good) - and when I found myself with 'run away or pleasure a man' options, I always ran away. Some of them seemed downright bordering on rape-y - not there yet, but it might have gone there if I'd continued down the 'allow self to be blackmailed and used' paths. And I'm not just saying that - one of the paths I started down had me flashing a biker. Who broke into the house. I dodged him, but I imagine there's a way I might have gotten caught by him.
The lesbian paths were, for the most part, downright exciting, arousing, fun, and borderline satisfying on a romance level. The largest problem I had, and I tried to avoid it as much as possible, is that most paths seemed to want to go down a 'lick butthole' path that I had no desire whatsoever to go down. But, meh, I got around that as best as I could.
Sex: Of course. Lots and lots of arousing lesbian sex (and possibly bisexual/straight sex, but, as noted, I ran the other direction every time that popped up (again, except for that first choice, and I got away with just groping).

Second story I'd read by this author - and first time I realized the numbers actually meant something (based on the other words in the title, I assumed that the number corresponded to some prompt somewhere, not to series story order).
Right, so, liked the first story I'd read by this author, so tried another - starting from 1. And by 'tried another', I mean that I had intended to create a bookmark and read it later. But got sucked into the story.
It's another straight forward story of bondage play. Again involving three women, same three as in the other story I'd read by this author. This time only one of the three is in bondage. Bound tightly in work clothing, gagged, and blindfolded. On a sofa or the like (at least at first), while her two girlfriends eat popcorn and watch a movie. And played with their 'captive' during the viewing of film.
Another fun diverting piece of erotica. Interesting at how well characterized the three women are from the little that is seen of them in this short snippet of a scene.

Fanfiction: Supernatural
I'd watched a couple episodes (or more) of Supernatural's first season. Nowhere enough to have a clue who any of the people are in this short story. If they are actually a part of the show or not. I didn't even know there were enough women to have a story like this one here.
Three women play an erotic BDSM game together. One takes the dominant role, while the other two take the submissive roles. It's a straight forward well written scene that involves bondage, spanking, flogging, electric shocks, crawling, etc.
Story is titled 'verbal humiliation', and was apparently written based on a prompt for that, but I did not specifically see anything in the story that I'd label that particular kink. The 'verbal humiliation' appeared to consist of the domme having the other two ask to have the things done to them that are done to them. And . . . hmm, that's basically it (in terms of what might have been verbal humiliation, I mean). *shrugs*
So, the three woman are: Genevieve Cortese (Ruby), Danneel Harris (not actually on show), Adrianne Palicki (Jessica Moore)
I've been including pics in the fanfiction I read as identifiable characters are being written about and so what they look like is known and stuff - and so -

Rating: .... how do I rate something that's a short erotic piece that I can't tell how it actually relates to a show I've only seen a few episodes of? mmphs. um, 4.61

Art Model Stand In by Maria X.
Art Model Stand In by Maria X.My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Second short story I've tried by this author. And another one involving a college student. This time at school - a student, Patricia, is not doing well in an art class. The teacher lets her know she can get extra credit by being a nude model. She does the extra credit work.
Adding a level of humiliation to the story (because, apparently, need to add humiliation to these type of stories needs to be multiple layered apparently) - Patricia is haing trouble because of the sexual nature of the class and Patricia's deeply religious upbringing (um, why she take the class, is elective). And if she didn't really know what the class would be about - she'd have learned within the first week, way within the zone of being able to drop the class. It annoys me when 'heaps of humiliation' are added for stupid reasons - it's not a bloody class she needed to take, she could have easily have dropped it so . . . - she'd rather fail the class than have her parents 'so ashamed of her' for dropping class (WTF is that about)? They wouldn't be ashamed of her failing but would be if she dorpped the class? mmphs.
"Patricia had had a crush on him since the first day of class." - oh, now I understand why she hadn't dropped the class.
This author seems to have something of a shaved fetish. This is the second story in which a character's being 'completely bare down there' has been a major issue/deal. First story the young woman was seen to have shaved everything and was called a slut. Here the young woman is asked to shave for the photo shoot. And she's acting very shocked and horrified. Shaving fetish. Did not know that existed. 'That seemed so lewd!'
'The only pubic hair she had was a small triangle just at the top of her slit.' - um, wha? This . . . she'd almost fainted from shock when she heard she had to shave everything off. And she barely has any hair down there to begin with? shesh.
Is waste an alternate spelling for waist? This is the second story with waste instead of waist.
Oh for fuck sake . . ..
I like nude model stories, but this was just crude. And included power imbalance/blackmail type of stuff. All that touching of that nude model - rough pulling on nipples, etc. Plus the woman didn't want to people to know who she was, and her 'friend' says her name revealing who she is, lying to her about the class knowing it is her despite the mask. Bah. pfft.
'It doesn't usually get that out of hand.' - even the teacher, who did nothing, knew it got out of hand.

Jen's Humiliating Airport Adventure by Maria X.
Jen's Humiliating Airport Adventure by Maria X.My rating: 3 of 5 stars
A woman in between the third and fourth year of college is heading home after the semester ended. She's apparently not traveled much and isn't too capable of handling security check-points. When something causes the scanning amchine to beep, the 'fat loser' (her words) came over asking if she had in metal. She, oddly, flips out and starts throwing around words like fuck ('I'm not wearing any fucking metal!').
Her attitude continues to not help things, the TSA agent(s) (later another one turns up), continues to try to handle the situation, until he decides to take advantage. After one of them places a hand on her shoulder, the young woman physically assaults them and ends up handcuffed. Lead away for more interrogation.
Apparently she forgot she had something metal stuck into her nipple. Easily forgotten, right? I say that because she mentioned her great body toned from swimming like 5 times, mentioned her hard nipples poking into her tight dress (after being forced to remove her bra) several times, but not once did she mention the metal piercing. Until, oops, there it is.
Right so - several words wrong, etc. etc. (like agin for again; waste for waist). Odd actions in this story. Like the male agents strip searching the female. The female constantly kicking the agents (in the stomach, in the groin) that kept making things worse. People acting shocked and calling her a slut for being shaved. In this day and age? Seriously? mmphs.
And then she spit on him. Bah. A TSTL character is supposed to be in an urban fantasy, or the like, not here (to stupid to live).
Story disturbed me.

The Dancer by N.T. Morley
The Dancer by N.T. MorleyMy rating: 3 of 5 stars
It only took me three plus years to finish this book, but don't ask me what it is about. I couldn't tell you.
Well, in the literal sense I could say: a young woman goes to work at a certain strip club. A strip club that has another club 'upstairs' that has 'rougher' stuff for certain clients who bid on the chance to use the women kept in cages there - and to be more exact the 'rougher stuff' involves dominants and submissives, and the women, who can at times act like slaves, are both well paid and enjoy the action. So yes I could say that. Beyond that? Not sure. It's an adult sex book that followed one specific young dancer who may or may not be pansexual, and who may or may not have spent an inordinate amount of time being fucked in her ass in this book (and in every other body orifice).
This is more than 'just' a porn book. But barely. *shrugs* I don't really have anything to say about this book.

Heat Wave by Elyse Springer
Heat Wave by Elyse SpringerMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and Riptide Publishing in exchange for an honest review.
Okay, let’s do the easy things first: This is the first book I’ve read by this author, and this specific book is the third in a series.
The important: Can a reader read this series book without having read others in the series? The quick answer is: of course, since that’s what I did. Are there things that a reader will miss from not reading this book after reading the others? Not sure, but based on what I did read I think that there are certain aspects that they would miss. I felt that way at times, at least.
The book kind of started off in a way that lead me to believe that I might be missing certain things. Like just why the lead (and only POV) character, Sara, had the other woman’s, Laura, phone number in her phone. There might have been something said at the time that she dialed that number, but if so, I missed it. It’s ‘important’ because the two main characters, Sara and Laura, seem as if they don’t really know each other, and yet both have each other’s phone number and are willing to randomly hang out together.
Mind, I know why the two know each other, just not why one had the other’s phone number in their phone. Why did they know each other? Eons ago, seemingly, maybe seen in one of the prior books, maybe not, a woman named Sara dated a man named Robbie. They fell into a relationship easily, and then out of it just as easily. At some point after that, a woman named Laura dated a man named Robbie. The same Laura and the same Sara who star in this book here. Laura’s parting from Robbie wasn’t as easy as Sara’s – Laura walked in Robbie doing the nasty with some other woman.
All of this might seem to be spoiler, and it is in a way, but the kind learned right up front in the book. For, you see, the book opens with Sara boredly wondering what to do that night. Too early to sleep. Her friends Abby, Kathy, and Nathan are all doing something (separately). Maybe she’d sleep anyway? Wait, she had Laura’s number. And so, she randomly dialed, randomly went out with her – and hopefully I’m remembering things correctly, that that is how everything unfolded. Oh, and it was there, when they meet up or over the phone, that Laura mentioned the situation with Robbie and that she needed to drink.
As might be expected from what I’ve written so far, two women who shared the same man at different points in time, both women are . . . . bisexual. What, that isn’t what’s expected? Ah. Hmm. Well, to be fair, Sara is quite taken with the notion that she’s straight. I mean, she’s one of those who pushes herself, challenges herself, knows herself, and she’d think, and thought, that if she was interested in women, that would be something that’d have popped up in her life before she turned 29, which she is now. Laura, on the other hand, might be somewhat off men at the moment, due to the cheating man she was just with, but is strong in her belief that she’s bisexual.
I’ve read a bunch of ‘lesbians who fall for straight women’ stories. This is the first time I’ve landed on a ‘bisexual who fell for a straight woman’ story. I think the closest I’d gotten to that in the past was a story involving a lesbian who fell for a bisexual woman. One who made some cruel and ill-advised remarks concerning bisexuals (that they are on the fence and should get off it already).
Nice to read a book that includes the idea that bisexuals are a real thing. And those who happen to be women and who find themselves drawn to other women, do not naturally and immediately leap from ‘I’m straight’ to ‘I’m a lesbian’. And that is one of the strong topics that crop up in this book – just what, exactly, Sara might be – she had been quite confident in her heterosexuality.
Enough of that.
Sara Walker is a 29 year old woman who works as one of the day-time managers at a diner in New York City. Lives in New York, specifically the Park Slope region of Brooklyn. The book opens with her being currently single, bored, and not really sure she’s happy with how her life is currently shaped. We, the reader, follow her, and only her, through her journey. Her journey that includes bumping into a woman named Laura who flirts with her. Who ‘forces her’ to dance at a bar. Who lures her into ‘kink’ (there is a section wherein the author says something, an afterward or something, about how those on Twitter encouraged her on her quest to write a book involving two kinky bisexuals).
Is it the same sex thing that’s the kink? That seems offensive, in a way. What, no? Oh. It’s the ‘surprise’ BDSM that broke out. Very early in the book. Along with the massive waves of kinky sex. I should probably make that a warning, or something. Some like knowing if a book contains that kind of thing.
Warning: This book contains several scenes of a kinky BDSM nature, and also includes, partially with, partially without that BDSM, public sex.
I distracted myself there, sorry. That’s what the book is about, though. No, not specifically BDSM. I mean, Sara coming to terms with the fact that she’s interested in another woman. And fucking her seemingly nonstop from . . . um, well, fairly early in the book. Thought I’d had a status update after the first encounter but don’t see one. That’s the relationship Sara and Laura fall into, Sara’s ‘experimenting’ and Laura’s ‘rebounding’.
Quite well written book. Had some flaws. Mostly ones that I might have created myself in that I had created a personality in my mind based on the information I’d been given about Sara, and that personality wasn’t matching up with Sara’s actions (like her inability to communicate). After being annoyed about that throughout the book I’ve come to a specific conclusion: I shouldn’t force personalities on characters based on assumptions and . . . well, words on the paper (like the part where she seriously challenges herself constantly, knows her own body, knows herself, etc. etc. The kind who confronts issues, not dives out of the way; except, you know, for communication issues with Laura). Plus the surprise BDSM kind of . . . surprised me – especially how it was handled, and for the part where I didn’t realize the book would include that type of thing. That and the part where I kept pushing past the sexual encounters to get to the rest of the story . . . in the later part of the book. Because I wanted to see what happened next, and the sex was getting in the way.
Sex: Graphic and frequent. With elements pulled from the realm of BDSM. Including such things as blindfolds, control, spankings, orgasm control, and the like. The earlier scenes were much more interesting and exciting than the later, though that comment is softened by the acknowledgement of a lessening lack of interest in reading deeply into the sex acts as the story unfolded.
Series: As noted, this is the third book in a series. I’ve not read the other books in the series, but can make certain observations: It is possible that the Jason from the first book in the series is the same Jason who makes an appearance in this book – lessoned by the fact that his boyfriend is Nathan in this book and Noah in that other book, so maybe different Jason. Abby and Gabrielle are both in the second book in the series and make appearances in this book as well, with Abby being one of Sara’s somewhat infrequently seen friends. Part of Tony and Gee’s story is touched upon in this book, but their story is told in the fourth book in the series – with Tony being a friend of Sara’s in this book here.
Would I recommend this book? Yes.
Rating: 3.98 – my rating was somewhat lower than I expected to find myself due to certain aspects that came up near the end of the book. And how I ‘took’ them.

Lost in the Valley that Time Tries to Ignore by Monstrous Love
Lost in the Valley that Time Tries to Ignore by Monstrous LoveMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
I like when the 'you' in 'Choose your own adventure' books is female (specifically those books designed to be read by adults and likely to include 'adult situations', like this book here). Not often the case. Oh sure, many try to be vaguely unisex enough to be either but largely fail at that (most, though, just bluntly have the 'you', as in the character the reader is reading as 'you', be male). And by trying to be vaguely unisex - look at the book description here: I've had little sleep the last week so I might have missed it, but it doesn't actually say here that the 'you' is female, though if not female then the rest of the description would involve gay porn (since there's stuff about hunky men). The ovi. . . . ovi . . . whatever big long word that means something like 'implanting eggs' might imply that the 'you' is female but . . . well, that baby that exploded out from an egg from a human had been in implanted in a man (in Space Balls, which was a parody of Aliens, which I haven't seen, so I don't actually know if, but suspect, that it was a man who had an egg laid in him there as well). And, going weirdly into science and crap, it's the male sea-horse that carries the baby eggs. Or some crap like that. Maybe he just sits on them. Considering we are talking about a fragile looking floaty animal, I don't think we are talking about 'sitting on them'.
Did I mention I haven't had much sleep in the last week? What, you can tell? heh.
Okay then: This story involves a young woman who has the ability to see the future. Because of this she gets given a kind of crappy name that I can't recall at the moment but probably is or something like 'Little-Know-It-All'. Well, the reader is this young woman, and the action is from . . . the you point of view, as that young woman. Who goes out into the fantasy world to try to save her people. Who are: 1) human; 2) kind of weak ass humans.
She goes on a journey and encounters: winged men (male harpies), insect men (flies, ants, spider), snakemen, and a male dragon. Judging by this story, there are no women on this planet except that 'you' - sorry, I mean judging by the journey taken. Though 'she' knows there are women because they get mentioned. They just are never encountered for whatever reason.
There's some kind of weird paper and pencil thing you are supposed to do to read this story. Since I assumed the sexually explicit stuff would be down the 'oops, you rolled badly, or your numbers are too low/wrong', I tended (except once) to read the 'you failed and got fucked' path before journeying on. Figuring it'd be interesting to do it that way as I'd be reading both paths anyway. Granted I can't 'win' that way, but then I can't 'lose' either. Since I wasn't exactly playing 'the game' (and this does describe itself as a 'game book' or something like that).
Right, so - Sex - lots. With various male creatures, all of whom are in some way monstrous (see above, you know, the part where I mentioned winged men, insects, snakes, dragon - okay, just read these words in this side-comment).
Oh right - I gave this three stars but then upped it to 4. Well, to be more exact, I rated it 3.5, which normally means I put it on that shelf, then 'rate it' as 3 (since we don't have half stars and stuff). But I gave an extra .25 when I realized something - 1) the critters meet weren't exactly 'new' or 'original' but 2) are kind of 'unique' in either what I've read lately, or unique in that they weren't the 'common' critters normally faced (like, normally I tend to come across mostly shifters of some kind, vampires, and/or zombies (though, to be fair, zombies normally are the other kind that fall in horror genre not fantasy, though I've encountered one or two that were in the fantasy genre).
I'm about 88% confident that, if I were to read this review some time in the future, I'd squeal in horror and kill it with fire. For being.... um.... really incoherent. And every other word is probably mispelled. I probably should eat someday. I mean sleep. Though eating would be good too.

Fresh Fruit by Ashley Bartlett

A woman lingers near an orange tree. Starring at it. Because part of it is hanging over public property, and therefore free to be sampled (the part over public property). But the owner of the tree keeps removing the oranges before they are ripe. So the main character is standing there. Starring.
A voice behind her calls out. Wants to know what she's doing there. Writing reviews of stories would be easier if I remembered people's names. mmphs. Right, well, the main character and the non-main character are both of the 'boi-ish' type of lesbian set. And they have a quite interesting time exploring the concept of whether or not they are both interested in the other while one tells the other about 'fruit maps' (apparently fruit hanging over public property is 'fair game' to be 'gathered').

The Luscious Tarte aux Fraises by Historia
HF, France
Not sure exactly when this story occurred, but it occurred at some point in time in France. In a time when a 'Gypsy girl' would be hanged until dead . . . potentially only because she was just too pretty (the woman in the pillory has that thought - that she didn't have any real idea why the woman was hanged, beyond the fact that people have a tendency to destroy any and everything that is pretty and/or brings joy to people).
Right, so, the main character spends the entirety of the story locked in a pillory in France for the crime of theft (she stole a pie because she knew that it was the kind her female friend likes and she wanted to make her smile). The woman is married and has a child. She also has these odd feelings for her friend, Jeanette (she, the main character, being Marie - if I'm remembering correctly). And, apparently, Jeanette might have some of these similar feelings.
sex - sex between two people did not occur in this story. I word that in the way that I did because a certain amount of . . . self-pleasure occurred (and I word that that way because the self-pleasure occurred by a person locked in a pillory .. . which makes self-pleasure difficult).

Whining and Dining by Jae
The main character comes from a long line of great cooks, but is herself the kind who might accidentally burn down the house just by looking at her stove. The story opens with that woman calling up a friend for help - apparently she's told someone that she can, in fact, cook and well . . she needs help.
The friend comes over. Stuff happens. And the chemistry between the two burned off the pages and made my fingers warm . . . wait, I read this story on an electronic device, I probably should check to see why it is overheating.
Good solid abrupt story.
sex: Barring people's thoughts about lingering looks at asses and kissing, nothing of an actual sexual nature occurs in this story.

Burn by Rebekah Weatherspoon
married, partner drama
I know what writing looks like when it is in first, second, and third person point of view. But . . . I have no idea what I just read is called. The main character is a hard working woman who is married to another woman. There's trouble in the relationship, though, because main character is kind of an asshole - the kind who takes out outside problems on a spouse (like a bad day) while also riding the spouse about certain things (like looking for work). That main character, who I'm sure was given a name though I didn't catch it if I did get given it - is, as noted, the main point of view - which is in first person ('I didn't like seeing you cry . . . .').
And that right there, that sample, is what confuses me. There's one point of view in the short work - the first person character. Two other characters 'appear' in the story - the wife, and the sister of the wife. The wife? Gets talked about as 'you'. No, not ''I told you that I don't like cheetos!'' but in a 'I didn't like seeing you cry . . . ' way. The first example is conversation, the second is the main character thinking of their wife . . . as you.
What the bloody hell is that described as? The story is a mix of first and second point of view . . . except the second isn't a real point of view. Nothing is from that second point of view - everything is from the asshole working spouse, nothing from the out of work spouse (the 'you' in the story).
It bloody annoyed me, like nails running down a chalk board annoyed me, to read passage after passage that included 'you'. I'M NOT IN THE FUCKING STORY! Get me out of your fucking story.
Right, so, that's the last one I read in this specific reading session and ends this section of the book (the first section of the book).
sex - nudity and the state of arousal of the other party was indicated. Stripping of underwear occurred. No actual sex is graphically described, though 'sex' was about to happen when the story concluded.

Tomato Lady by Cheyenne Blue
Australia, farmer
A story set in Australia starring a woman called the 'Tomato Lady', Sadie, and Erica. Sadie is the star of the show, as in point of view. She and Erica have created a friendship of sorts and this story here is about whether it might go further (like finding out if Erica actually likes women sexually).
First problem for that 'anything more' was already stated - Sadie can't tell if Erica is really flirting with her or not. Second problem? Erica's a sophisticated looking lady drives a Lexus while Sadie is continuously dirt covered - with some parts permanently 'stained', and tends to wear clothing that isn't the best (since tomato's stain) - like when she's telling this to herself (or the reader) - she's wearing barely there cut-off shorts (forget the exact wording now, something like bareist as possible or . . no that's not even a word) and a singlet.
I've no real idea of the ages of the people in this story though, based on the story, Sadie can't be that young - needing time to buy, build up tomato place to point of being 'Tomato Lady'; and Erica keeps repeatedly being described as being 'older' (older than what, dirt?).
sex - vague recollection that I first became aware of this author from seeing their name in erotica story collections. I believe. On the other hand, after reading the introduction, I wasn't really sure what to expect erotic-wise with 'Entree' stories (since the heat is supposed to build from one section to the next).
I suppose it depends on levels of graphicness, what people expect, or something like that. Seemed somewhat more descriptive waxing lyrically about an orgasm than the sex act itself. I mean, there's a bare white breast, some fingers did some stuff (I think). Lots of kissing, I know. Very vague impression given that one 'went down' on the other - and I mean very very vague.
I've read sex acts where I've no clue what is going on, and I've mentioned that in the past, but in those occasions it was because I literally hadn't a clue what all the limbs, body parts, and the like being tossed around were actually doing (didn't help, in one occasion, that people were talking and the author had one of the characters cock their head, so now I had a cock in there as well). Here? Well, not a flurry of body parts, no. More just super vagueness. Got the impression that sex occurred.

East Meets West by Karis Walsh
Cowgirl (Rancher), Indian (from India), Doctor, Texas (San Antonio)
A classic cowboy and indian story set in Texas. Except the cowboy is a cowgirl (or at least a rancher), the Indian is someone from India, and I do not actually know what 'a classic cowboy and indian story' would be.
Rena followed her parents/family's 'advice' until she couldn't any longer - until she was in the USA with a medical degree and now they wanted her to come home to become a housewife in an arranged marriage. So she finally defied her family (though that might be wording things wrong, since she 'had no problem' with the advice about her life goals until it clashed with her desire to not be in an arranged marriage, not go to all that trouble for an advanced degree/education only to abandon it once married, and her desire to be with women not men). And so now she's there in San Antonio Texas. Estranged from her family.
While on one of her rare outings with co-workers (her issue - she'd rather be home), Rena notices several things - yet another restaurant in Texas that just had to have chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy on the menu, gorgeous woman. Rena takes a long look at this woman, long look. Until she spotted that woman getting the chicken fried steak - but hey she's still ggg . . the woman is saluting her with her drink. And so Rena returns to her group, estranged from her family, still lacking confidence to actually do anything with women.
Liz, the rancher woman wearing the old boots with the silver chain on them, followed Rena when she left with her group. Introduces herself, sets up a date. Then a date occurred.
Sex - graphic, interesting. Somewhat surprising considering - first date, timing of the 'pounce', etc.

Public Nudity, Objectification, Blindfold, Audience
Names, jobs, careers are not important in this story, sure names were given, some physical characteristics were also given (much more important), and some information on the current status of the relationship (still new . . . though it's been 'months').
I'm confused as to why this story in particular is in the Entree section. The entirety of the story is eroticism, graphic - very graphic eroticism. Public nudity, public . . . touching/groping/teasing/and yes, sex. Plus private sex.
Something about my tags:
Public Nudity - two girlfriends meet at a classy upscale brand new lesbian restaurant. Super high class, super high quality. One of the girlfriends, the lead in the story, Teresa, hurried to her girlfriend, Cree, who she spotted talking to a chef. The chef wanders away. Teresa and Cree talk. During which Cree causally runs her hands along Teresa's body, and . . . does something or other to the nipple (what, a bunch of other stuff occurred as, I just recall 'something' occurring out there in the dining area where Cree pinched, teased, touched, caressed or otherwise did something to Teresa's nipple). Mind, Teresa and Cree are meeting in the open in the restaurant (I'm not exactly sure where, in the dining area?).
Teresa and Cree talk, as noted, then Cree leads Teresa back to a private room set up a little oddly. Well, table, chairs, lots of pillows. Cree then blindfolds and strips Teresa completely naked and puts her onto the table because one of her fantasies is to eat Teresa. Actually, that was a fantasy, but the reason 'we' are all here is because Cree has a fantasy of watching group activity.
Public nudity? Wasn't I supposed to be talking about that? But they are in a private room, so . . .. Shortly after Teresa is in her position stretched out on her back on the table, naked and blindfolded, people come in. Or the sound of people. Then stuff beings happening to Teresa's body - as in plates and stuff are getting placed on her. But I just wanted to note the public nudity part not convey the entire story here.
Oh, I went to put more tags down here in the review section and I notice I already covered all of them. Public nudity - women stripped in public setting with an audience; objectification - woman is used as a 'serving tray' - and at one point the blindfold is removed and Teresa looks around, and realizes that people aren't really looking at her. She's just where the desert had been resting; blindfold and audience are kind of obvious.
Sex - see the entirety of my review above. Or - yes there is sex, graphic detailed sex. More eroticism though depending on definitions. And what counts as sex.
I probably rated this story quite poorly, right? I mean I noted that names and all that didn't matter. Given, not matter. Then proceed to mention how the story is basically just a really long erotic scene filled with eroticism of an erotic nature (okay, I failed, I wanted to use various phrases of that word but . . . failed). Well, let's look down to see what I rated this story *points down*

Appetizing by Cheri Crystal
Nurse, Butcher
A woman visits a supermarket/deli. Spots a mouth-watering gorgeous woman behind the counter. Drools a little. Can't keep her eyes from wandering lustfully over the woman's curves, plump ass, full breasts. While falling into her eyes the woman realizes that the counter/butcher woman is also checking her out and rather aggressively flirting with her.
That woman behind the counter writes her number on Reba's package of meat (I only recall Reba's a little scene that occurred wherein Jackylyn (sp?) asked Reba what her name meant, looked it up online and came back with an answer that made Reba think of bondage and whether or not the comments being made might include that in actuality). Stuff. (ran out of characters while writing this mini-review)

Sugar and ’Shine by Andi Marquette
PoC, Alabama
While painting the place she'd be selling shortly, a woman from her past drives up. Both had feelings for the other in high school - neither expressed it. Probably because Sunny had been seeing, not dating but 'seeing' Antoinette, Alexia's sister. Sunny being the painting one, Alexia being the woman who drove up. Alexia is also the woman of color and the one from the rich part of town (while Sunny comes from the poor part of town).
Both are back in town briefly for a class reunion. Both wiggle next to each other.
Sex: There's at least kissing but I forget now how graphic things got. Hazard of reading, making note of my rating, then not actually doing my mini-review until days later.

Vanilla Extract by Jove Belle
chef
Two women have a second date (one isn't clear if the first 'date' can be called a first date or not). They had meet at a wedding - one of the character's (Elana) brother married her ex-girlfriend. The other woman was there as the caterer (Kelly).
Kelly arrives at Elana's place, to start the story, to find that Elana wanted to 'return the favor', or something like that. In that Kelly feed Elana cake. So Elana is attempting to make a cake - poorly. Kelly is quite horrified to see that Elena is using cake mix and imitation vanilla extract (and other cheap products). So one thing leads to another and . . . they end up at a store to get 'the correct ingredients'.
Back at Elana's place, stuff being mixed (by hand), oven on, cooking begins . . . when suddenly one pounces on the other and they almost burn the place down.
One 'issue' that I'm not sure is an issue or not - the P.O.V. seemed to switch between Elana and Kelly somewhat randomly. I mean, one second you are inside Elana's head as she's frantically attempting to figure out how to remove her own pants, then gasping as she feels fingers; the next you are in Kelly's head (not sure if they specifically switched right there but that's what I mean by random switches).
Sex: Wild passionate graphic sex occurs.

Artist, writer food column
An artist, Renee, messes around on an art project. She's quite frustrated with it - there just seems to be something 'off'. So she takes a break and goes to an art show that she didn't really want to go to but will distract her.
While at the party, Renee spots an attractive woman out in the garden area. Proceeds to leave, get food, bring food back and introduce herself to the woman by offering to feed her. Delilah Ramsey, food columnist, is the other woman.
I'm not 100% sure how this occurred, exactly, I mean it seemed like a sudden and odd line of events, but one thing leads to another and Delilah is now naked on Renee's table. Being 'painted' with food. As part of Renee's project.
Sex: graphic depictions of a sexual nature do occur.

A Senator's wife, who is more powerful than her husband (because of who her father is), has an arrangement with her husband. She plays with women, he has his own secrets.
The story opens from the point of view of 'The Lioness' (Leonita) down on an arena floor. Having just defeated/killed her opponent. Her last fight. For her benefactor, that senator's wife (Flavia), has purchased The Lionesses freedom.
A mix of eroticism, romance, and graphic displays of sex. Mixed further by seduction through sensual eating.
Flavia's body tightened, her toes curled, and she reached a space where there was no thought, only colors and feelings
sex: Yes. Graphic and intense.

The Seductress of Andromeda: A Sci Fi Choose Your Own Erotic Story by Callista J. Hawkes
The Seductress of Andromeda: A Sci Fi Choose Your Own Erotic Story by Callista J. HawkesMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
Ramblings as I started reading:
I knew going in that the 'you' would be male. So, that has to be factored in to any enjoyment from the book.
Before anything else can happen, before I can make any choices, a blonde woman strips in front of me on a space station as I watch. Then I get the choice: carry on or flee before finding self, possibly, in the brig.
Apparently I'm quite good at 'going down' on women. *nods* heh
---
Right, so I, the character I, got kicked out of the navy and turned to a life of bounty-hunting (description mentions smuggling as well but none of the paths I went down even hinted at the idea that I did anything other than bounty-hunting (and heists)).
I followed most of the paths. I think the only one I didn't follow is the one where I returned to my bunk without satisfying the blonde at the start of the book (2 reasons: 1: I'm already there - breaking the rules by being away from my bunk, and there probably was surveliance showing 'me' going to her place; 2: and now I don't remember reason 2 . . . ETA: I remember reason 2 now that I've 'finished off' the book by going down that path - the book description indicated that I was a bounty hunter/smuggler not that I was a naval officer. So 'obviously' I need to be 'kicked out' and so . . . . (there were ways I could still have been kicked out to start off my life of barely legal existence (well, I stole my ship while leaving the academy so not barely legal at that)).
Entertaining read.

Sin in the City of Angels: A Noir Choose Your Own Erotic Story by Callista J. Hawkes
Sin in the City of Angels: A Noir Choose Your Own Erotic Story by Callista J. HawkesMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
As might be expected for a erotic noir private eye book set in the 1940s, the 'you' of the story is: a) a private detective; b) male.
Stop me if you've heard this before: A 'classy broad' walks a private dicks office. He's half-way to drunk. She's disdainful of her surroundings, richly dressed, and flashing more skin than you'd expect. She bluntly states that she believes her husband is plotting to murder her. The dick is skeptical, but is willing to hear her out (she does look rich, and he is a seedy private eye).
Classic opening, eye? Well, that's how the story opens. The opening can then go one of two ways (and I'm not talking about a choose your adventure book, I mean this type of plot): detective hired to find evidence of the husband trying to murder the wife; detective hired to act as a body guard; or the third way - detective either hired or lured into 'taking out' the husband before he can 'get' the wife (less often a private eye story line, the third, than a 'random stranger' or 'boyfriend/neighbor-on-the-side' story line). Nothing new yet, nor any decisions to be made.
heh. First decision is 'Take the case or turn the case down'. Sooo . . I know! I'll turn the case down! *clicks* She begs. I'm offered a choice again. I'm mean! I turn her down again! And . . . . 'The End', of course. hehe. Shesh, and this is the first decision point? Obviously 'turn it down' leads to 'the end'.
*goes back to begging, 'takes the case' then snorts at what "I" say when I take it*
"I'm a sucker for a nice pair of legs."
Strangely the comment doesn't lead to the woman to hurriedly strip off her dress and leap across the desk. So, it's going to be harder work, eh?
Hmm. So "my" first name is "Sam". Gee, where'd I hear a private dick with the first name of Sam before? Or, for that matter, a private eye with the last name of "Marlowe". So . . . I'm Sam Marlowe, eh? Sam 'Philip' Marlowe 'Spade'.
(one of my confusions, going in, is why this is set in the 1940s instead of the 1930s or 1920s. Shouldn't a 'real man' like this Marlowe dude be in the army? (or other military branch), there is a war on afterall)
Ah, my second decision point (well, after restarting) - fuck my assistant or tell her to do what I asked and go investigate the public records. Naturally I . . ..
hmm, admittedly having the 'classy broad' return 'during the act' and having to push th assistant beneath your desk and then finding her continue her actions while the client talked is both cliche and interesting.
Not sure it matters but: client is 26; assistant is early-ish twenties. Sam Spade, I mean Philip . . . Sam Marlowe is ... older.
'put to use the undercover training you'd learned working for the OSS during the war.' Oh, post war then. I saw '1940s' and got the wrong impression then.
Hmm, after making my private dick be mean and refuse the case, I'm now making him super horny. And kinda a bad detective. hehe. But but . . . women! (I was going to say attractive women, but the next one up Sam makes a point of noting is 'plain').
Super super horny. Ooh! See! I'm gathering clues as I . . . act super horny. I got clues I did! *humps woman, notices stuff* I not bad detective!
"So big."
"I bet you say that to all the guys."
Slap. Caress of dick's dick.
Wait, no, the only part from the book is "So big." Then 'Magnificient".
Of all the sex acts in all the book, the one with the client is kind of . . . boring, frankly. *boredly reads; sees has to make decision about what sex act to perform next. Pulls out gun. Removes all but one bullet. Spins gun. Remembers don't have that gun. or a gun. Flips coin and presses "slip inside her" (too bad 'drink whiskey and get the fuck out of there already' isn't an option).
Dames. Compliement your big magnificient dick and make you use it. mmphs.
And . . . wha? See, problem with choose your own adventure stories - the parts don't always align right. Ah well. I mean, yeah, I'm about to 'slip into her', but . . . the wording implies something else had occurred prior. Which didn't occur. Because I went a different path. Having me direct the sex action certainly is a spin on 'you choose' book.
Most books seem to be:
A) you stab the man in the butt;
B) you shot him in the head;
C) you drink your flask.
results:
A) He was a vampire. You're dead now.
B) Good job! How'd you know he was a zombie?
C) Instead of your anticipated whiskey, you drink pure undiluted holy water. The man attempts to bite you. Explodes.
Instead, here in this book, I get:
A) tell her to put it in her mouth;
B) bend her over.
And then:
A) sixty-nine her or
B) stick it in her.
hmms. There seems to be more description about the man, the 'you' , than the women. All this talk about big magnificient thick dicks. Bulging and stuff. Less about the mousy plain women. Odd, that.
Oh god, stop that already. I get it already. You are stroking the man's ego by talking about how super huge his dick is. "You're so much bigger than my husband. I've felt so full!" - gah. I get it already. Stop with all the massive cock talk already. I fear I've overused the word 'already".
Okay, now the book is just fucking with me. NOw my decision is to come in her or, OR, come on her breasts. I'm so aroused, so exited, this book, ooh ooh. gah. I think I'm going to fall asleep.
I have a suspicion this might be more exciting for a man to read. Well, maybe depending on the paths chosen. Then again, even so, it is still a man who is 'you' so . . . ..
Shesh, private dick-me is such a smirking smug prick. gah.
Yes . . . of course the woman enjoyed you erupting onto her breasts. I fear that deciding to make my detective horny . . . I've rapidly grown tired of him. I should have continued the 'must solve case' trejectory I had initially gone down. pfft. When the bloody hell is this particular scene going to be over so I can redirect things back to the mystery?
Oh for fuck sake - yes, after fucking the man's wife, why don't you drop her off at her house gate? Nothing at all strange or odd about some strange man dropping off the wife like that. None. NONE!
heh. I can tell it's after midnight. I've gone batty.
---
Well, first man visited in this book. Wonder if there's some way I can turn it erotic, eh? heh. Then there'd be no one I'd be sexually interested in! Yay!
Hmm. Well, that . . .. hmm.
--
Good grief. I think the book just had me have my *counts* 12th whiskey. shesh.
---
And now, without me able to make any decisions one way or another (shesh, before I was directing the sex, now I can't go anywhere but here, watching . . . I feel slimy and ill - yeah, now "I'm" a slimy fake talent agent about to take advantage of a woman. eek).
Gah. Why did I have a choice for every bloody woman before now? Now that I've finally grown weary of all this horny detective stuff, I can't dodge a woman. When I finally get choices again, it's how to fuck her. shesh. And the choices! FUck her feet, fuck her ass, or have her stroke you while licking your ass. I'm . . I'm fuck me, why am I reading this again? That's right, got tired of dying every choice I made in that zombie book. So . . . let's read a noir erotica! I probably won't die there! Except from all the gross sex (well, and yes, gross. I have no choice here I"m comfortable with. NO FEET SEX! . . . NO RIMMING! . . . . NO ANAL PLAY . . and I'm left with . . . no fucking thing. oh, if I turned the page I could have avoided all this. Though still sex, though it's 'traditional'). Yay?
hehehe - so, 'traditional' I hope you aren't too straight laced to enjoy a blowjob? Sister, you know nothing, nothing! Why, what I've done today . . .. But no, fuck that, no blowjob from you! I don't know where your mouth has been! So . . I'll . . um . . slip it inside you. *Nods*.
Bloody hell. Now "I" am all about how big my dick is. shesh. for fuck sake.
At least I get to read the response, is good response. *nods*
"Uh huh, you've ruined me for al other men," she replied dryly.
And quickly, that mood, leaves.
Ah, the choices I'm given. The Choices! Now it's back to 'come inside' or 'come on breasts'. That's it. 'Run screaming in other direction' isn't even in the cards. pfft.
------
I'm getting tired of all the 'choices' that consist of nothing but a 'continue' button to click. shesh.
---------
For a guy who spent time parachuting around Europe during the war, 'you' sure have a lot of height/vertigo issues.
----------
Well, first mistake I've noticed. For some reason the author acidentally used 'Vandergraaf as Valentina D'Abruzzo's last name at 23% into the story. *shrugs*
-----------
Bloody hell, this became a romance in the end. heh.
---
This was actually rather entertaining. Well written but for that one mistaken name.
